some Tips and tricks! Starting your fitness journey is no easy task

the New Year has passed, The resolutions has gone to a distant land but yet
we still have this on going desire to better ourselves , Our Fitness journey,
you know the old saying I’ll lose 10 pounds, I’ll get buffed, I’ll get ripped for the
new year we start, we even go hard for that first month maybe even the
second month Then life happens; the kids need new shoes, the rent has to be
payed, wish means we may have to stay later at work so we can earn more
money etc. etc. . There goes our fitness journey Wow! needless to say in your
late 40s it’s even that much harder to not only get fit never the less start.
Here are a couple of things I’ve noticed on my fitness journey, whether you’re
in your late 40s 50s or beyond starting your fitness goal is no easy task, With
Menopause rearing it’s ugly head, Night sweats and fatigue doesn’t make it
any easier! Here are some tips and tricks I’ve learned that help make my
fitness journey run much smoother.
Vibrate on a higher level!
When you change your mindset, you’re able to expand in so many different ways
especially in your fitness journey , Not allowing the naysayers ,TV, social
media to dictate what you should feel like or what you should look like is the first tip!
Clear out your mental closet, go to the mirror and look at yourself. Yes,
completely look at yourself in the buck naked, Love yourself, speak life into
yourself, Understanding that you have paved the way that brought you here
for a reason, this is your time to heal.
Who New Working out would Bring out so much Emotions! As I’ve progressed in my fitness journey, Call it hormones or what! the change in my outer arpents brought on different emotions from with in, Wanted to give you a big heads up on that one, trust! it was new to me too! Study shows that “Exercise releases endorphins, which interacts with serotonin and dopamine,” wish are the chemicals that impacts our mood.
Strength!
It takes immense strength to start anything new, nevertheless, working on
your physical appearance from the inside out Ernestine Shepherd is 85 as
well the world oldest body builder! Now that strength! Man you have to be
strong to tackle such a task! building up your body does wonders in turning
back the hands of time, not only do you feel younger and look young, your also
creating muscle mass which will help you in reframing from injury, helping
those bones stay nice and protected.
water:
water is turly a nonnegoiable! as women in our late 40’s 50’s ex. water is
critical to our health especially as we obtain or fitness goals, Drinking water
will help keep or normal body temperature, Lubricate and cushion our joints
as well as protect the spinal cord and other sensitive tissues. water is key! it
wasn’t until I really started drinking my 8 glasses of water did working out start
to feel much enjoyable. oh and it also helps with recovery..
most impotently Sleep!
Ahaaaa Sleep can we ever get enough? I don’t know about you but no matter
how much sleep I get I could always use a bit more Zzz No but seriously, Sleep
is what heal us after all that pounding on our body a good not sleep will make
sure our overall performance will be at the top of the line! getting enough
sleep at night also helps with lowering the risk for serious health problems,
like diabetes and heart disease as well as reduce stress and improve your
mood. something that’s really helpful as we start to age! sleep also helps you
think much more clearly like who wants to be in a Fog, working out is hard enough!
Conclusion: Ernestine Shepherd advive in accomplishing our fitness goal is “though Discipline, Dedication and Determination ” Anything is possible, You got this!
